The LORD of Glory, Power and Dominion Used His might to intricately weave His Son into a human womb.
The same process of Life chosen for you and me.
His perfect honor could not stand to be tainted by the iniquity of His creation But our God could neither stand to be aloof from the ache of His children.
Humankind characterized by shades of blood destined to attain total purity, But not by their own account.
A Painter would not be so foolish as to try to make a color into a shade that it cannot be, But would begin a new work in its place to satisfy His vision.
Our own Divine Artist is so, infinitely wise and wonderful.
If what is scarlet must be white, an entirely new creation must be made Rather than to muddy up a brilliant red into a soft pink with much toiling.
Our God sets out to exchange the scarlet soul for one that would resemble snowfall,
So bright and pure that a child might feel as though he has never truly seen the color white before.
Everything we dream for is a mediocre reflection of the King himself.
His own hairs will one day glimmer like the sun shining on fresh snow As we tremble at the beauty.
A Father would not be so foolish as to offer something to a child that He, Himself, knows not of.
Omniscience offers peace and hope that the earth and its toys have no access to.
A Wise Man does not waste time trying to make a color into a sheep’s coat For an abstract pigment cannot be argued into a physical fur, soft and warm to the touch.
Yet in His infinite might and power, Our King came to be a Lamb of Sacrifice for humankind Claiming our very own sin-stained souls and exchanging it for His own body.
Named Man of Sorrows, Our Lamb soaked up the blood, sweat, and tears of the world.
He absorbed the wrath of His own Father, Judgment for all sin. Justice and Mercy hung limp and splintered on a bloody cross.
This exchange of crimson for white wool came at a cost But it is a debt that has been paid. '
It is finished.
All may nestle softly in the wool of Glory’s Presence In the simple belief that It is True and Trustworthy.
Life entered the Son once more in power and carried Him Home in promise.
The same new life is offered to you and me.
Now stands the invitation to a Divine Reuniting with this Father and this Lamb, Of which we may only enter under the bright glow of His own Glory within us.
“Come now, let us reason together, says the LORD: Though your sins are like scarlet, They shall be white as snow; Though they are red like crimson, They shall become like wool.” Isaiah 1:18
“The hairs of his head were white, like white wool, like snow.” Revelation 1:14
